Are your cleaners equal or more powerful than others?

We have used cleaners before on the cockpit scum with varying results. I do not have their names handy but they are the usual suspects sold in chandleries and West Marine. Are your cleaners equal or more powerful? Do we first try something like Simple Green or Spray Nine or Marikate?

Boat Scrub is recommended for cleaning fiberglass and non-skid surfaces. In areas where you have stains or scuff marks that are hard to remove, use a 50/50 solution of Boat Clean Plus and Boat Scrub. Be very careful if you use Simple Green. If it dries before complete rinsing it can permanently streak your gelcoat. Spray Nine is highly alkaline and has a tendency to cause chemical burns or yellowing of gelcoat. If you wish to use these products or others I suggest that you do your experimenting on a scrap piece of fiberglass before attacking your boat with them. Boat Clean Plus and Boat Scrub are recommended and used by many boat manufacturers because the are safe and effective products and results are guaranteed.Thanks for your question,
