Cleaning and Protecting RV’s
Jane Meeks asked:
Can Alumabrite CBX be used on an aluminum travel trailer? I have a lot of black streak marks that I just can’t get off. It is a white trailer and has some blue and green designs. I am a little concerned that the product might damage the other colors.
I would appreciate your insight or other options that you might recommend.

Alumabrite CBX is only for raw aluminum. If your trailer is painted, the product that you want is Black Streak Remover. You may also want to buy a Marine Power Mitt to reduce your labor and effort or you can use a cloth or sponge, but it will take a little more effort. After you get your travel trailer clean, I suggest protecting it with a couple of coats of Premium Boat Shine. Regular use will prevent chalking from the sun and reduce the black streaks that you are getting.
