What is the difference between speed clean and inflatable boat cleaner

Inflatable Boat Cleaner is a heavy duty spray, scrub and rinse cleaner that is used for regular maintenance. Speed Clean is a cream restorer and stripper that is used for removing oxidation, scuff marks and stains. It is also used for cleaning new boats prior to applying Poly Guard and it’s used annually to strip the previous year’s coating prior to applying a new coat of Poly Guard and Repelin.

Both products are safe for PVC, Hypalon, Polyurethane and Rubber.

Recently Steve Potter called with a problem he was having with a brown sticky surface on his boat. That usually indicates a reaction with the fabric and suntan lotion or an oil based protectant and the sun. This problem indicates that the fabric has deteriorated and the problem is normally irreversible. When I saw the before pictures I suggested that he save his money on our products and invest in a new boat instead, but he wanted to try and save his boat.

He tried Speed Clean with minimal results. He then tried Inflatable Boat Cleaner and that got most of the brown sticky surface off. He then scrubbed with Speed Clean and that got the rest off and restored his inflatable. He locked in the finish with Poly Guard and now his boat looks brand new again. I would have bet money that he couldn’t do it.

Being the sceptic that I am; I’m going to have to try this for myself. I know that our products are good, but miracles? Was this just a fluke or is it the real deal? I learn new stuff almost every day, but I like to verify that the product or technique works consistently before I recommend it.
