How do I get really bad algae off my aluminum boat?
Bob Bielawski asked:
I have a 16′ aluminum boat which I left in Lake Erie for the season this year. What a mess when I took it out, do you have a cleaner that would remove the algae growth?

Algex will remove the algae without damaging the aluminum on your boat.Spray it onto the algae, wait about 20 to 30 minutes, scrub it with a brush and rinse it clean. You may have to do this several times to get it all off if it is really bad.
Also check out Alumabrite CBX to brighten the aluminum if it is stained, plus Alumetron to protect the finish and VS721 to reduce the attachment of algae and Zebra Mussels and make clean up easier in the future.
