How Do I Remove Barnacles From My Brass Props

  Skipper

David Knecht asked:

Which product do you recommend for getting barnacles off a brass propeller?

Use Algex to clean up your propeller. Spray it on and let it work for about 1/2 hour. This will soften them up so that they are easier to remove. You will probably need several applications to get the adhesive rings off. If you need to do some scraping, use a wooden or plastic scraper so you don’t damage the metal on your prop.

Thanks for your question,
