How often should I apply Canvas Shield to keep my top dry?

I love your Canvas Shield. It’s the first time in 3 years that the top hasn’t leaked on my SeaRay. I tried 3 other products and nothing worked like your Canvas Shield product. I used your FabriKlean to clean the mold from the camper top. That stuff is amazing. Then I sprayed it with Canvas Shield and no leaks for almost 4 months now. My question is how often do I need to re-apply it to keep my top protected. I never want a leaky, moldy top again.

I recommend once a year. It should be part of your annual preventative maintenance routine: clean it with Fabri-Klean and re-waterproof it with Canvas Shield. This can be done while the canvas is on your boat to eliminate stretching and shrinking and it’s much more convenient. Fabri-Klean is environment friendly and free rinsing so you won’t harm the environment. Canvas Shield is PTFE free and low in VOC’s so there’s no carcinogenic PFOA out gassing and it’s non-toxic. Regular use won’t harm you, your family or the environment and it will protect your marine canvas against UV damage and color fade so you’ll get more life from your top or cover.

Canvas Shield will continue to protect your marine canvas longer than one year, so you can wait until your top or cover starts to leak and you get mould again, then try to fix it,or keep it clean and protected so you don’t have to deal with the problem. In addition, growing mold on your canvas top or cover will promote mold growth throughout your boat and can cause damage to the seats, carpets, etc. and of course it’s not healthy for humans to be around mold.Sort of like changing the oil in your car. You can do it every few thousand miles or wait for the motor to start smoking. In the end, the preventative maintenance routine is a lot less expensive.
