How to Clean and Protect plastic windows on Bayliner Trophy
James French asked:
I have a Bayliner Trophy with a full top. It has plastic windows not Plexiglas. Will Clear View clean and protect this plastic material?

I assume you are talking about a camper top not a hardtop, and you are referring to the flexible clear vinyl side curtains, also called Isinglass, plus a clear vinyl window in the back.
The Clear View Kit is excellent for cleaning, restoring and protecting this type of marine plastic. Use the No. 1 cleaner / restorer to clean the windows and remove traces of white or yellow fogging and light scratches. Next protect the windows with No. 2, UV protector. Re-apply the protector every 4 to 6 weeks to keep your windows supple and clear. Regular cleaning should only be done with running water as from a garden hose and never wiped dry but only patted dry with a soft cotton cloth or preferably a Synthetic Boat Chamois which will absorb water without rubbing and scratching. Regular application of the protector will increase the life of your windows 2 to 4 times.
