How to remove alumetron

Keith Johnson asked:
How do I strip alumetron from my pontoons so I can clean and buff them?
Answer:
For your convenience, I’ve highlighted the links so you can get additional information about the products by clicking on the link,
You can use lacquer thinners and rags to dissolve and wipe off the Alumetron. After wet it with water, spray on Boat Clean Plus and scrub it well to remove any residue. It will reduce buffing time and the amount of Alumabuff that you will need to buff out and polish the pontoons. Then you can rinse off the Alumabuff or pressure wash it off, it’s water based and will rinse clean with water, before re-applying Alumetron.
Thanks for your question,
