Hindson Marina Open House Demo Waterline Stain Remover
On Saturday, May 8th we were invited to the Open House at Hindson Marina in Penetanguishene on Georgian Bay to demonstrate some of our products to their customers. One of their staff was kind enough to donate his Chaparral fiberglass boat to the cause to see what we could do with it. He had a waterline stain on the bottom that just would not come out. He pressure washed it, scrubbed it and even compounded it.
Nope! That stain would not come out. It was buried deep in the pores of the gelcoat.
We got a bottle of Aurora Waterline Stain Remover, a plastic paint tray and paint roller and applied it to a 4 foot section of the waterline and below on the hull. The instructions said to wait 20 to 30 minutes but that stain was being pulled out in less than 1 minute. Sari came out to see what was going on and the first word out of her mouth was WOW. A few customers could not believe what they saw. They thought it was some kind of trick and wanted to see it again. We obliged and their reaction was WOW.
