Carnauba Wax Can Yellow Your Boat

Several boat manufacturers are now recommending to their customers that they no longer wax their boats with Carnauba Wax because of the cosmetic damage that it causes. They recommend using a synthetic polish instead.
When the sun heats up the wax on your boat it melts and releases the natural yellow / brown dye in the wax, which can cause staining.
