Can Algex be used to clean a pontoon boat on a lift?
Keith Rodden asked:
I have a pontoon on a lift and don’t own a trailer. Can Algex be used in this situation?

I assume that the boat is on a lift above the water. In this case, we do not recommend that you clean your boat and flush the residue into the water. You should move your boat to a cleaning facility where the residue from the cleaning can be contained or at least be deposited on land where there will be minimum impact. Algex will degrade quickly when it comes into contact with marine growth or water, but it’s not a good idea to dump the effluent into the water.
